Allen Amplification was more than just a company to its founder, David Allen. It was the result of a lifelong love affair with the legendary tones of vintage Fender® amps. Fueled by an engineer's mind and a musician's heart, David meticulously designed and crafted amplifiers that captured the essence of those classic sounds, adding his own pragmatic enhancements and player-friendly features.
A Legacy of Hand-Crafted Excellence
In 1998, David's passion materialized into Allen Amplification. Initially offering DIY kits to empower the builder community, he soon expanded to a full lineup of hand built amplifiers, each one meticulously hand-wired point-to-point in the USA using top-quality components. His obsession with detail and commitment to tone resonated with discerning musicians, making Allen Amps a sought-after name in the amplifier world.
Carrying the Torch, Preserving the Tone
In 2022, David made the bittersweet decision to retire, entrusting his legacy to a passionate team: Alan Forinash, Tommy Thompson, and Chetan Kamdar. We, like countless others, were captivated by David's dedication and the magic he poured into his amps.
